worship recap 1.24.10

As usual, it’s been a gazillion years since I last posted :)   I’m sure no one even reads this anymore…but I’m gonna try to at least post worship recaps (even if it’s just a list :)

This past Sunday the team did a great job!  And by team I mean the band, singers, tech, etc.  We’re really starting to tighten up musically and the tech side of things get’s better and better each week. We introduced “Desert Song” by Hillsong.  What an amazing song.  Great lyrics. Sherry does an amazing job on the vocals and I hope it’s truth and the song catches on @ HCC.

For fun, I’ve included links to song of the song we did this past week. These are just the audio straight from the board.  All I did was add a bit of reverb.  So you’re hearing everything, warts and all :)

I heard these, and they were great! Stoked on your ministry, brother. :)

Wow…. you are brave putting everything out there! But you have nothing to be ashamed of. Good show, all of it! :)
Still playing around with “Here I am to Worship.” I will let you know if anything comes of it!

nice! we’ve been playing desert song for a while but if the drums/bass can’t groove it, it really comes out a little “bland” … great lyrics though!

and good to see you posting again!
